The Finnish Village can be found at Augustusplatz, in front of Leipzig Opera House, every year. Together with the Fairytale Forest, it is a unique highlight of Leipzig's Christmas Market and pulls in visitors with its Finnish specialities. The cosy huts invite you to enjoy delicious smoked salmon, reindeer meat or the famous Glögi mulled wine. Arts and crafts, reindeer skins and Finnish pastries are also part of the repertoire of the Christmas Village, and guests can celebrate in groups of up to 50 people and enjoy camp fires and country specialities in the so-called Kota tent. Directly opposite is the Fairytale Forest, where even the youngest will get their money's worth in entertainment. Numerous mythical creatures are just waiting to be discovered and photographed here.
