The Alveser See is an oxbow lake of the Weser. Here you have the opportunity to fish.

 The lake is located between the districts of Eitzendorf and Alvesen in the municipality of Hilgermissen and the joint municipality of Grafschaft Hoya and stretches largely in a north-south direction (approx. 3 km, max. 180 meters wide). The Blender Emte flows out at the northern end of the lake. The depth is approx. 4 m and the area approx. 14 ha.
