 It is not for nothing that this valley bears its name - the Goldbach stream, which meanders through the valley, feeds several trout ponds as well as the mill ponds of the Dallmühle mill at the entrance to the valley. The Kasselmann trout farm is a family business with a long tradition and sells its own fresh trout on the farm. A stop at the Restaurant zum Forellental is a real treat. From there, you have a view of the valley slope on the mountain road with its many old cherry trees - a dream view, especially in spring when they are in bloom, and definitely worth a walk.
