 When Meyer Werft moved to its larger location, it left behind a charming ensemble of buildings that has been the cultural heart of the city of Papenburg since 1992: The "Forum Alte Werft" includes the town hall with around 900 seats, the "Theater auf der Werft" with around 240 seats, the Zinnober art school and the municipal gallery.
