 Welcome to our farm in Forstort-Anfang!

We are the 4th generation to run our farm, directly on the Gnarrrenburg moor, not far from the Huvenhoopsmoor nature reserve.
Our modern cowshed with around 120 dairy cows and almost all of our forage areas are located directly on the moor. We stand for sustainable and gentle fodder production.

**Where is the cheese made?**
Our cheese is traditionally made directly on site. Heidi's mobile cheese dairy from Elsdorf regularly visits us and processes our milk directly in its trailer to make the unique bog cheese.

**What types of cheese do we have?**- Natural moor cheese with a creamy, aromatic flavour
- Fenugreek moor cheese with a fine, nutty flavour

All our varieties have a maturing time of five weeks.

Directions &amp; Parking facilities

The small village of Forstort-Anfang is located in the north-western part of the district of Rotenburg (Wümme), in the municipality of Gnarrenburg.

By car:
From Bremen, take the A27 motorway towards Bremerhaven (Bremen-Nord exit) and the B74 via Osterholz-Scharmbeck to Gnarrenburg. From here, simply follow the signs to Zeven until you reach Glinstedt. From there, continue in the direction of Augustendorf.
From Bremerhaven, take the A 27 motorway towards Bremen (exit Beverstedt) and then the B 71. In Basdahl, turn off towards Osterholz-Scharmbeck and follow the B 74 to Kuhstedt and from there follow the signs to Gnarrenburg. From here, simply follow the signs to Zeven until you reach Glinstedt. From there, follow the signs to Augustendorf.
From Hamburg, follow the A1 motorway in the direction of Bremen, take the Elsdorf exit and from there drive via Zeven in the direction of Gnarrenburg. Shortly before Gnarrenburg you will reach Glinstedt. From there, follow the signs to Augustendorf.

By public transport:
There are bus connections from Bremen, Bremervörde and Zeven to Gnarrenburg and the beginning of the forest. You can find more information here: www.vbn.de

More information

Why not combine shopping on our farm with a short walk to the Forstort-Anfang moor tower or a visit to the approx. 2 km long Huvenhoopsmoor moor adventure trail in the nearby village of Augustendorf.

The moor tower is also the starting point of the 14 km long NORDPFAD Huvenhoopsmoor circular hiking trail.
