- Church

Dedicated to the memory of the miners who died in the "Segen Gottes Schacht" on August 2, 1869.

The Segen-Gottes-Schacht of the Freiherrlich von Burgkschen Steinkohlen- und Eisenhüttenwerke was located on Kleinnaundorf land. Over 4 million tons of hard coal were mined here.

On August 2, 1869, a severe firedamp explosion occurred in the mine fields, killing 276 miners. Only five workers were able to save themselves, the rest of the miners suffocated or burned to death. A memorial was erected near the Segen-Gottes-Schacht on the first anniversary of the explosion in the Kleinnaundorf district in the "Am Segen" housing estate to commemorate the victims of what was the worst mining accident in Saxony at the time. In the middle of the park-like grounds is a stele with the inscription:

"Dedicated to the memory of the civil servants and workers who, faithful to their profession, perished in the depths of the earth on August 2, 1869."

Plaques are arranged in a semi-circle around the stele, bearing the names and ages of all the victims. The site is a listed monument.
