Future plans include a nature-experience-ants-trail and a goblin trail. Furthermore, one of the goals is the renaturation of the limestone quarry. Important advice for visitors: Visitors and hikers of the Dohrenberg are asked to stay on the trails to protect the nature and numerous animal species, and to take the environment into consideration.  Garbage and food leftovers of a picnic should not be thrown into the nature, but disposed of at home. At the Dohrenberg, there is a vineyard. Grape harvesting is a very special day for hobby winemakers. The red from the grapes of the variety \"Müller Thurgau\" and \"Red Regent\" is taken from the location \"Käsebusch\" to the river Mosel by a befriended winemaker who takes care of the development and aging of the wine. By car: At the end of the street Waldstraße in Salzderhelden head in direction to the forest as well as at the end of the village in direction to Rittierode (in direction to the cemetery). There are three parking lots from that you may walk up the hill Dohrenberg.
