St Ursula’s Church is one of the oldest buildings in Gera.

 Late Romanesque structural elements are found in the tower basement. The chancel and the adjoining apse indicate that they were built in about 1200. Modification and extension work took place in 1767, 1933 and 1934. The church bell, which was cast in 1473, is the oldest in the city. The church is surrounded by the old Lusan cemetery and its walls.

Lusan liegt südlich vom Stadtzentrum und ist über die Bundestraße B 92 (Gera-Greiz-Plauen) erreichbar.

Parken
Eine begrenzte Zahl von Parkplätzen steht im Umfeld der Kirche zur Verfügung.

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Die Kirche befindet sich unweit der Haltestelle Fußgängerbrücke, die von der Straßenbahnlinie 3 erreicht wird. Außerdem ist in der Nähe der Bahnhof Gera-Zwätzen, der mit Zügen u.a. von Erfurt, Saalfeld, Plauen/Weischlitz und natürlich Gera Hbf. bedient wird.
