The circular route BR 3 "Landscape and History Bramsche" takes you on 48 km past the Alfsee to Rieste where you can learn all about the legendary Battle of the Teutoburg Forest at the Kalkriese Museum.

On this route, you experience the landscape and history around Bramsche. At the beginning, a visit to the **Tuchmacher Museum** is possible. Then it continues along the canal toward Kalkriese, and a visit to the **Varusschlacht – Museum and Park** is possible. Then it goes on to the **Alfsee**, past the **Kloster Malgarten**.
