With many more impressions, your gaze turns to the picturesque Lühe tributary, which you cross several times. The Hogendiek bridge is predestined for a photo stop. The village of Steinkirchen impresses with its well-kept half-timbered core and the church of St. Martini et Nicolai with its Arp Schnitger organ. On the Steinkirchen side of the Lühe, the tour winds along the small tributary of the Elbe through the Altländer villages of Mittelkirchen, Guderhandviertel and Neuenkirchen. The first part of the route from Stade via the Alte Land to Harsefeld follows the signs for the Mönchsweg. From Harsefeld to Dollern, the route follows the signs for the Steinroute. From Dollern railroad station, the tour is signposted via Agathenburg to Stade with the signs for the Obstroute. A note on the nature of the route: Before Bliedersdorf, the route runs along a short section of a district road without a cycle path and without a cycle path on the right-hand side. Before and after Harsefeld, the signposted route leads partly along forest paths, which are generally good for cycling, but not necessarily after long periods of rain.
