A leisurely tour through the historic mill landscape of the neighborhoods of Hirschstein.

The Hirschstein Mill Trail is a tour just under 20 kilometers long that passes through nearly all of the districts of the  and winds through a regional landscape where visitors can discover the history of numerous mills.

Information panels along the route offer fascinating insights into the history of the former mill sites.

The route passes through Pahrenz, where you can see the impressive  —a technical monument built in 1889 on the 141-meter-high Windmühlenberg and still open to visitors today. In  adjacent , you can also take a leisurely break (please check opening hours in advance).
