You follow the Lauersche Weg on the north of the lake. You cross the route of the Green Ring Leipzig and keep left on the asphalted path to continue the circular lake route. At the fork of Lauersche Weg turning right, keep left again and continue following the shore path. The long straight on the west side of the lake finally leads you to the Bistumshöhe observation tower in the south of the Cospudener See. A view over the lake landscape is always worthwhile. In the south you pass the bison enclosure and continue along the asphalted path until you reach the harbor Zöbigker. After a short climb, turn left there to get onto the east shore path. You pass the east beach and the Seehaus Cospuden until you return on a longer straight section on the east shore path again to the north beach and the starting point.
