Parallel to the Vineta path, it goes southwards and directly along the shore. At Röthaer Holz, the trail circles the southern arm of Lake Störmthaler and then along the eastern side of the lake northwards again. Passing the Vineta landing stage, the path leads to the harbor master and the holiday resort Lagovida. Then it goes around the Gruna Bay and continues further east between the lake and a small forest section. At the easternmost point of the lake, the path heads towards the village of Störmthal, from where there is a wonderful view of the Vineta. Upon reaching the north, it goes alongside the lock canal back to the starting point.
