Other highlights are the Obelisk near Streumen and the Knight’s Estate in Promnitz, offering insight into the baroque splendor of that time. Those interested in history can also visit the Ehrenhain Zeithain Memorial. The information and education center commemorates the victims of the Wehrmacht prisoner-of-war camp in Zeithain near Riesa from 1941 to 1945. Additionally, the natural paths along the Gohrischheide nature reserve, a detour to the Waldbad Glaubitz, or the Saxon Fire Brigade Museum make the tour worthwhile. With a mix of historic monuments, picturesque landscapes, and memories of the \"Zeithain Lustlager,\" the route is an experience for culture and history enthusiasts.
