From the starting point, the trail first leads uphill towards Kohnsen. This first ascent offers a **beautiful view of Einbeck** at the edge of the forest.   The trail continues along the **stone quarry** in the direction of Bartshausen. You can discover the **Bartshausen war memorial** on this section of the trail. The barbecue hut in Bartshausen, which is located directly on the path, also invites you to take a short break.   Above Avendshausen, the path winds through the landscape and offers **views as far as Ahlsburg**. After the path takes you above the quarry in Avendshausen, **stone towers** with a bench await you a few hundred meters further on - an ideal place to take a break. Passing the **water house**, the trail then leads downhill to Avendshausen.   At the end of Avendshausen, there is a beautiful **old lime tree** with a bench. The path then leads uphill again towards the **Avendshausen barbecue hut** - which is also perfect for a break. Continue to the forest, where beautiful paths along the edge of the forest await you. A view to the left opens up a view of Einbeck, the **Ahlsburg** and numerous **wind turbines**.
