The small town surprises with medieval remains of the city wall, the manor castle, and a former brewery from the Renaissance era, which today houses the municipal museum, the city library, and a restaurant. From the observation tower at the city park, the town and the Parthenaue can be seen again from afar. From here, the path continues southeast toward Borsdorf or on to Beucha.
