Directions

The route begins at the guesthouse in Weißig. You cycle on the Frog Cycle Path southeast through the forest to Skaska. At the inn "Jägerhaus" you leave the Frog Cycle Path to the right. After leaving Skaska, you cross the Schwarze Elster and cycle along the Great Pond to Trado. In Trado, you meet the Frog Cycle Path again, which you leave to the right at the exit of Neu Trado. Ride between the Middle and Field Ponds further to Döbra. Here you cross the road and reach the village Milstrich straight ahead. Here you will find a memorial plaque at house no. 28 for the Sorbian composer Bjarnat Krawc.

Follow the floodplain path on the Schwarze Elster Cycle Path towards Schiedel. You come to the course of the Schwarze Elster and continue right over the bridge and meet the KRABAT Cycle Path, which you follow to Weißig. Along the 181 m high Lindenberg, you reach Biehla.

Continue cycling through the nature reserve "Biehla-Weißig Pond Area", where you can observe rare animals and plants. At the Biehla Great Pond, nestled in a picturesque landscape, lies the Biehla swamp ring wall. This is now almost completely eroded. Only by the rows of trees growing on the well-fortified wall foot can the fortification still be recognized on the terrain.

Over the Salis meadows, you cycle past the Horst Pond and reach Weißig again, passing between the Bassel Pond and Middle Pond, near the fish farm.
