When you emerge from the forest, you can either take a trip to the village to the observation tower at Schaalseehof or turn left to Pipersee and then return to Seeedorf."

The marked hiking trail, approximately 5 km long, begins at the parking lot by the church in Seedorf and leads past the magnificent church and small castle up to the Werder. If you follow the path to the right at the edge of the forest through the natural mixed deciduous forest with a high proportion of deadwood, you can see far across to the opposite shore.
