Dine in unique ambience of a former railroad wagon.
WaggonBistro <> is a red and white pub, which stands on real rails. In it, on a few square meters, there is a small kitchen, a bar and space for about 23 guests. In good weather, the beer garden opens in summer. In winter, underfloor heating provides cozy warmth.
The culinary offer in the WaggonBistro and beer garden is always German and Italian. German beer and Italian wine, lard bread or bruschetta, soup, etc. At least four to five vesper dishes are on the weekly changing menu. Whether for the small or large hunger, whether cold or warm, there is something for everyone. The host, Franco, pays special attention to fresh ingredients. On request, the host will also put together an individual menu for you if you order in advance. Here you can expect a real "experience gastronomy"!

Host Franco Tancredi is the tenant of the >>Siding 1<< for six years. Together with wife Piera he takes orders, taps the beer, serves and cooks. Both combine hobby, fun and work. After his training as a restaurant specialist, Franco worked passionately and continuously since 1996 in the gastronomy, also in large catering companies. His desire, however, was to work independently. Tancredi family are hardworking Italians and live in Geilshausen.
