Two days of the finest live music in Eggetal. For the fifth anniversary of the event, guests can expect a unique mix of rock and pop - with a very special band.
Fittingly for the festival's anniversary, it's time travel! On Friday, June 20, Germany's only 80s/90s live band will perform the really big hits of these decades: from Madonna and Lionel Richie to Take That, Cher and the Backstreet Boys. The first Bergfest evening will therefore be a real party night. The seven-piece band with professional singers from all over Germany will perform from 9 pm. A DJ will also provide the right groove during the breaks.
Bergfest with four rock bands
But of course, rock music must not be neglected at Bergfest. The organizers promise: a colourful mix of the best-known rock songs from three decades, peppered with original compositions and a few surprises. It starts on Saturday, June 21, at 6 pm. A children's choir from Bad Holzhausen elementary school and the Farbtöne choir will get visitors in the right musical mood, then the traditional brass band from Bad Holzhausen will open the rock evening. A total of four rock bands have been announced: the rockfolks from Börninghausen, Groove Discovery from Minden, Gorch Rock from Espelkamp and the Klabusterberries from Lauenförde.
Tickets, pizza and travel
In addition to bratwurst and chips, there will also be pizza, crêpes and ice cream. The festival site is located at the sports field in Börninghausen, Mühlenbachstraße 7 in 32361 Pr. Oldendorf. Advance ticket sales start on 25 May at selected sales outlets in Eggetal and on the website of the organizer, the village community "Wir im Eggetal e.V." at www.boerninghausen.de
