Landscapes, still lifes or portraits: A wide variety of artworks can currently be seen in the Osnabrück district hall. They were created by pupils from the Susanne Raming School in Bad Laer as part of a project week. The title of the exhibition: "Colorful diversity."
District councillor Matthias Selle thanked the young artists at the exhibition opening with 60 guests: "The variety of techniques and ideas that the young artists have created here is enormous." In fact, there were no limits to the creative freedom: Under the guidance of Sergej Botschmanowski, the pupils had drawn, painted, stamped, printed, shaped, sprayed, smeared, cut out, glued, turned, glued and created collages from various materials.
Selle also thanked the dedicated teachers for their support during the project week in which the works were created and for making the exhibition a reality. Inspired by the works of well-known artists, the children translated the knowledge they had gained during the project week into their unique paintings.
The Susanne Raming School is a state-recognized day school. For 50 years, it has been a successful alternative to the state school system for pupils with special educational needs for intellectual development.
The focus is on personal support for each child. The school values a supportive working atmosphere. A dedicated staff creates optimal conditions in small classes and highlights individual talents, which can be encouraged accordingly. In addition to teaching, the development of social skills, teamwork, tolerance and harmonious cooperation is always important to the staff.
The "Colorful Diversity" exhibition can be seen on the third level of the Kreishaus during the opening hours of the Kreishaus until the end of the year, Monday to Wednesday from 8 am to 4 pm, Thursday from 8 am to 5.30 pm and Friday from 8 am to 1 pm.
