Easter market at Satzvey Castle

The Easter holidays with Easter customs herald the start of the new event year and welcome spring.
The whole family is invited to explore selected market and craft stalls and enjoy entertainment, crafting activities, and egg painting on the historic grounds of the romantic water castle.

A colorful hustle and bustle around the impressive castle brings entertainment for young and old. The highlight is the Easter Bunny workshop in the courtyard: Here, children can lend a hand to the bunny, paint eggs, or work on crafts. Between 1 PM and 5 PM, the big egg hunt with the Easter Bunny is on the agenda. Who will find the sweet surprises? Moreover, various big and small bunnies throughout the entire grounds offer all sorts of treats while giant soap bubbles float through the blue spring air.

Spring cheer is also provided by the juggler band "Trio Grande": With funny variety acts and imaginative costumes, the three artists entertain guests on stilts at Burg Satzvey. Numerous market and craft stalls offer unique handcrafted items, decorative articles, and regional specialties. Here, you can also find unusual clothing, jewelry, and culinary delights.

On Easter Sunday at 2 PM and Easter Monday at 3 PM, the author Jasmin Zipperling will read from her book "Himmeldonnerglöckchen!" in the bakery of the castle: As an aspiring Easter bunny, Hopsi is supposed to sit still, point her ears, and pay attention. But Hopsi much prefers to do somersaults and accidentally ends up in a Christmas workshop. What’s wrong with being a Christmas bunny instead of an Easter one?
