Welcome to the Gorse Blossom Festival 2025! Experience nature and enjoy community – in the Eifel National Park.

Oliver Krischer, the Minister for Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of North Rhine-Westphalia, supports the Gorse Blossom Festival as its patron:
"The Eifel National Park is a real win-win project and a flagship for all of North Rhine-Westphalia. It offers valuable habitats for endangered species while providing attractive nature experiences for the whole family. The Gorse Blossom Festival is a great opportunity to learn about the variety and beauty of the national park and its importance for nature and humanity,” said the minister.

We are pleased to celebrate the Gorse Blossom Festival and the European Park Day with you on May 24 and 25 in the heart of the national park - with a diverse program for all age groups.

Start on May 24 from 6:00 PM:
An early summer evening with campfire romance, live music, and bread-on-a-stick
Under the motto "The Natural Night – Experience and Protection of Darkness," there will be a hike and, starting at 10:00 PM, a telescope star observation. Guests will learn why dark nights need protection – and how light pollution changes our environment. Followed by an exciting night hike and fascinating stargazing.
