Knight’s Spectacle

Mildenstein Castle in Leisnig traditionally invites you to a knight’s spectacle in the thousand-year-old walls. On this weekend, each time from 11 am, the musicians let the sounds of lovely melodies, soothing for the ears and inspiring to dance. Jugglers show their acrobatic arts and make the people amazed and laughed.
Visitors experience a large, historical market. Candlemasters, Jews' harp carvers, grinders and leather makers carry out long-forgotten craft and above all children are allowed to become active and take part in it themselves.

Bakery, taverns and cooking kitchens provide for the physical well-being and make sure that you can fill your belly abundantly. Grim knights secure the Castellum of Mildenstein, show the high art of swordfighting and action-packed combat scenes.
