Since its opening, the "natural play and meeting space for all generations", or "Lintorf village square" for short, has been used in a variety of ways throughout the year. Every year, numerous groups visit the square and use it for their events.
Children meet almost every day to play soccer or streetball. The kindergarten and Lintorf elementary school make regular trips to the square. The kindergarten mainly uses the stream and sand play area, for which a maintenance sponsorship has been taken on. Lintorf elementary school also looks after the stream in the form of a sponsorship.
