Church
In 1842, Bad Rehburg received its own church, donated by Queen Friederike.
The first church service at the "Gesundbrunnen" Bad Rehburg was celebrated as early as 1692 - in a tent. Bad Rehburg has always belonged to the parish of Rehburg. In the middle of the 19th century, there were efforts to break away from Rehburg and move to the monastery in Loccum, but this did not happen. Queen Friederike's stay at the spa in Bad Rehburg in 1840 was decisive for the idea of building the chapel. However, she did not live to see its consecration.

The barrel-vaulted hall building with its monumental western gable rider and non-recessed apse is a characteristic example of romantic historicism. The ashlar entrance façade forms an effective accent against the backdrop of the Berwald forest in Gothicizing forms. The furnishings date from the 19th century, i.e. from the time of construction.

The so-called Bussche memorial stone stands in front of the Friederiekenkapelle. It was dedicated in 1780 by Baron Christian August von dem Bussche to his wife Christiane Carolia, née von Ende, who died at the age of 41.
