Founded in 1925 by Wilhelm Meyer, we still produce excellent bakery and confectionery products for you today using traditional craftsmanship.
All, or rather: almost just like in the good old days, because many of the recipes for our fabulously aromatic breads or our incomparably tasty cakes date back to the very first years of the company. Our Heidebrot, for example, is still made as it was in Grandpa Wilhelm's day. The dough is filled into real wooden molds and gently baked in a stone oven until fully risen. A traditional artisan process that hardly any bakeries still use today - simply unique. The result: you can enjoy a chestnut-colored bread with a wonderfully aromatic, open-pored crust and an intense bread flavor.
