The farm store and market stalls ensure a year-round supply of apples, with 32 varieties throughout the year. There are also many other fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, cherries, mirabelle plums, plums, pears, walnuts, quinces, as well as apple juice and jam. Easter, lilacs, peonies, sunflowers, garlic, pumpkins, fir greenery and fir trees and eggs.
Agriculture already in the name:
Our family comes from the Sudetenland and settled in Evessen in 1950.
Many generations of our family worked in agriculture, which is how the name Halbhuber came about. A Hube is the size of arable land that a family needs to live. Half a hube was not enough for a wheat field.
Accordingly, our family devoted itself to special crops early on. Former hop farmers are now fruit growers.
