The parish was first mentioned in 1202 with its Church of St. John the Baptist.

The initial building probably dates from the 10th / 11 Century and was later made ​​extensions and conversions. Worth seeing inside the church restored in 1990: the main chorus of the high altar remains of an altar shrine beginning of the 16th Century and the age-matched figures in the choir, in the aisle of the Pieta and the Romanesque font from basalt.
