From the center of the city, the route first takes us south through the Ems floodplains to the Emssee lake in Wiedenbrück. A short stroll through the old town or a break by the lake are both great options. Children love the water playground there!
The route then leads us north - past the Odzuck Pavilion and the "Altes Klärwerk" skate park. Here you can play a round of beach volleyball yourself or simply relax and watch the action of skaters and BMX riders.After crossing under the A2 freeway, enjoy the natural alder quarry forest that leads you to the moated castle of Rheda. A short detour into the quaint old town alleyways is also recommended in Rheda! On the way back to the town hall, you will pass the "Spielerei", which offers various opportunities for children and adults to relax during the summer months.

Rheda-Wiedenbrück train station is usually easily accessible with local trains from Bielefeld / Hamm every hour.
The walk to the start of the tour in Rheda takes approx. 10 minutes (-> Rheda Castle).
