The "Historical Anecdotes" route is an approximately 65 km long circular route that links the towns of Meerbusch, Kaarst, Korschenbroich, Jüchen, Grevenbroich and Neuss.
On this tour through the Rhine district of Neuss, you will experience a bit of everything: castles, manor houses, monasteries, churches, historic town centres, parks and gardens. The garden pavilion of Haus Meer is a Meerbusch landmark. The Quirinus Minster in Neuss is another important landmark. The Liedberg district of Korschenbroich with its castle of the same name evokes a medieval flair. And if you want to immerse yourself in monastic life, there is no way around the Langwaden Monastery in Grevenbroich.
