"An(ge)kommen"

From October 18 to November 15, 2024, works created in two workshops by women from the Xenia Group will be on display in the foyer of the New Town Hall in Stade. This group was founded in 2022 to offer refugee women from Ukraine a place for exchange and integration. It is a cooperation project between the Equal Opportunities Officer and the Social Assistance and Integration Department of the Hanseatic City of Stade, the AWO Migration Advice Service, the Women's and Mothers' Center and the Migrant Parents Network (MEN). Under the guidance of artist Rüdiger Munderloh, the participants created sketches and watercolors that capture impressions of the landscape around Stade.
