Unique experience and hiking pleasure in the Eifel!
On Whitsun weekend, June 7 & 08, 2025, the picturesque Eifel in Birgel will once again open its doors for a special experience weekend.
Whitsun Saturday, June 7, 2025: The music event Trumpets & Trombones kicks off at 5:00 PM with the "Battle of Brass Bands," featuring the MV Daleiden and the Büdesheimer Musikanten. At 7:00 PM, "Wellblech Sauerland" will get the crowd going, followed by the main act "Fäaschtbänkler," who will rock the stage at 8:30 PM.
Whitsun Sunday, June 8, 2025: A large stage program awaits visitors at the Tannenhof and Bielenhof-Alm with the MV Ammeldingen, the Alphorn Rebels, children's musician Uwe Reetz, and exciting live Highland games. In parallel, the Historical Watermill Birgel will offer musical entertainment from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, along with thrilling mill tours and brewery insights. Children can unleash their creativity by baking bread. The Bielenhof-Alm offers a varied program for young and old. Camp Tannenhof invites groups of 2-6 people to the Highland Games – from axe throwing to cobblestone tossing. The local community of Birgel also invites everyone to guided hikes in the hiking area Hirschbergsattel.
