Lake Rosien, an artificial body of water with a natural sandy beach, has its origins in a former soil extraction site for dyke construction. The gently sloping shore areas are ideal for children and invite them to splash around carefree. Regular checks ensure the high quality of the water, and the lake has proudly held the EU bathing water label since 2018. Part of the lake is leased to the traditional Neuhauser Angelsportverein von 1936 e. V. fishing club, making it a popular destination for anglers. The area around the lake is well equipped: inviting sandy beaches, cosy benches, inviting fire pits and a seasonal toilet and waste bin provide a comprehensive infrastructure that ensures visitors have a pleasant stay.
