A particular specialty in Hedeper is the stork bread. 50 cents of the sales price of the hearty bread with a crispy crust is donated to the stork project, helping to preserve the breeding large birds.
On Mondays until 9 a.m., sales take place directly in the outbuilding in the bakery.
