Welcome to our farm on the outskirts of Scheeßel!
Following the motto "From the region, for the region!", we offer everything that makes a "good" farm store in our cozy farm store. Fresh, healthy, self-produced and home-made products from the region around Scheeßel.
We produce many of our products directly on our farm, such as Klötenköm egg liqueur, various fruit spreads, herbal salts and herbal teas, soups and sauces. Our range also includes meat and sausage specialties from our own pig farm and eggs from our free-range chickens. You will also find lots of products from direct marketers in the region, such as vegetables and fruit, cheese, spices, oils, liqueurs, juices, honey and baked goods as well as various gift ideas. A specialty is certainly our ten different types of pasta, all of which we make ourselves, such as the spelt and pumpkin pasta, which was awarded the title of "Culinary Ambassador of Lower Saxony" in 2019.
Directly next to our farm store is ourMelkhus, which is open from the end of April to the beginning of October. In the small dairy restaurant you can get milkshakes, farm ice cream, quark and yogurt as well as coffee and cake. You are welcome to enjoy our dairy treats in our garden. There are plenty of shady and sunny places to linger. While the "little ones" explore the farm, the adults have enough time for a "Klönschnack" (North German term for a conversation), because with us children always find something that captivates them for a long time. The pedal tractors and trailers, which can be used to drive around the farm, and the large straw castle on the lawn, which we set up every year for the milking season, are very popular.
You can also take a look through our "sow stall shop window". We are mainly farmers and take great care in keeping sows and piglets and fattening the piglets born on the farm. Free-range chickens, goats and our farm dog Lotte also live on our farm. We are happy to explain how this farm life works, what our daily work involves and why we love our work to groups of children and adults on a guided tour of the farm, which can be booked in advance of a visit. We are also happy to organize your birthday party or offer you a delicious wild herb breakfast if you book in advance.
So, stop by and enjoy a little country break on our farm!
If time permits, we are always happy to have a chat!
