Church
The St. Adalbert priory church is the second-oldest church in Aachen, after Aachen Cathedral.
While there are several churches in Aachen, the St. Adalbert can look back on more than 1,000 years of history. In 1005, the collegiate church was consecrated by the holy Adalbert of Prague. It did not become a priory church until 1935.
The church’s 1,000-year-old history is reflected in its numerous reliquaries. The usage of the church has changed over the years. Today, it is a meeting place for combining art with the church building, music with religion.
