Church

The Protestant church of St. Martin is one of the stops on the city tour through Eschershausen.

The new church was consecrated at Whitsun on 29.05.1746. The south side of the old St. Martin's Church had collapsed during a service in 1736. There were no casualties. Until 1765, the cemetery was located around the church, surrounded by a wall and five entrances. The obelisk standing next to the church originally came from the old cemetery, which no longer exists today.
