Hiking experience on the edge of the Sauerland

The route leads past the mighty Aabach dam to the old glassworks. There used to be a small settlement here, where almost 100 people still lived around 1900. Due to the abundance of wood, glass was made here in the form of bottles and drinking glasses. Historical boundary stones and the mystical skull stone also invite you to take a short journey back in time. The valleys of the Kleine Aa and Große Aa will delight you with their flora and fauna on this hike, while the hilly landscape offers excellent views of the surrounding countryside time and again.
