With its unique architecture, Wendlinghausen Castle and Manor is one of the most magnificent buildings of the Weser Renaissance from the early 17th century. It then leads through fields and forests with beautiful views. An information point brings renewable energies to life. Heat from the biogas plant, electricity from photovoltaics and wind energy are explained in short films. On the grounds of the innovation center, you can get to know the variety trial "Energy from native wild plants" as a supplement to maize cultivation. Biogas can thus make a real contribution to more biodiversity (bees, butterflies, other insects and wild animals).
