The Genusshöfe are celebrating their 5th anniversary and are inviting the whole family to a special anniversary weekend from June 5 to 7. Visitors can expect a varied program of culinary delights, live entertainment, regional market events and hands-on activities for young and old. The Genusshöfe have stood for craftsmanship in their own bakery for 5 years. From our small and exclusive bakery, we have been able to conjure up all kinds of baked goods, cakes and tarts with a focus on spelt and have won many fans. To mark our anniversary, we have further expanded our expertise and will gradually expand our range of artisan baked specialties made from regional flours and ingredients. Let us surprise you. Saturday: indulgence, market and live experience Saturday starts with a breakfast buffet in the coffee house. Please remember to reserve a table in advance. Afterwards, selected farm suppliers and regional service providers will present their products and offerings in the outdoor area. The culinary offerings are complemented by a coffee stand, the new Genussmobil and a catering stand. A special highlight is the in-house coffee roastery, which will be in operation throughout the day and offer exciting insights into the art of coffee roasting. Interested parties can follow the roasting process live and learn more about different types of coffee. The gourmet store in the coffee house is also open and offers gift baskets and regional products, among other things. In the coffee house itself, you can also take a closer look at the past and go on a little journey through time. The development of the site from the former Schmidt metal foundry to today's coffee house is documented in a small exhibition inside. Using pictures, photographs and historical impressions, visitors can trace the history of the site and gain an insight into the various phases of its development. An artistic highlight will be provided by Osnabrück graffiti artist René Turrek, who will create a live design on a silo on the site. There will be a special program for children with a bouncy castle, face painting and a graffiti activity. In the evening, the live band "Thirty Toes" will provide musical entertainment and form the highlight of the first day of the event. With their varied repertoire, the band creates a great atmosphere that invites you to linger, sing along and dance. The musical program is complemented by a bar and beer offer from Mr. Schmidt, making the evening a convivial meeting place. Sunday: enjoyment, discovery and relaxation Sunday also begins with a sumptuous breakfast buffet, accompanied by live jazz from the band "Guayoyo", which ensures a relaxed and musically atmospheric start to the day. From 1:00 pm onwards, the grounds open up as a lively meeting place for visitors of all generations. A varied flea market invites visitors to browse and discover in a relaxed atmosphere, while the vintage car meeting with historic vehicles, which takes place at the same time, sets special accents for lovers of classic cars. In this open and inviting atmosphere, there will be an opportunity to linger and chat until late afternoon at 4:30 pm. With their anniversary weekend, the Genusshöfe not only offer a look back at five successful years, but above all a celebration for the region - characterized by enjoyment, community and special experiences.
