The informal setting with delicious coffee specialities and homemade patisserie attracts many locals to the café. In summer, you can enjoy a delicious ice cream in the neighbouring "Gelateria dell'Alpi", one of the best ice cream parlours in the city.
The Ristorante is designed in the style of a cozy Trattoria and conveys a familial hospitality that is uniquely characteristic of bella Italia. The styling is Italian; lots of wood, bright and open, modern yet slightly retro. The music that plays sets a cheerful mood! And the food? It's like a mini-vacation for your taste buds.
Indulge in delicious traditional Roman specialties: antipasti, homemade pasta and oven-fresh Pinsa. Upon request, meals can also be served in the style of a Tavolata Italiana, with large plates and pots placed in the center of the table.
You can tailor your paella to your individual taste by choosing the basis, main ingredients and special extras. And to accompany it, a good Spanish wine from the modern wine lounge. After the hearty Spanish meal, how about a digestif in the form of a gin, of which there are many? As we say: a vuestra salud!
The love of beer is our focus. A total of twelve taps and over 60 beer bottles - with changing beer varieties from independent Swiss breweries - offer the opportunity to discover a wide variety of Swiss beers. There are also fine gourmet burgers and other dishes lovingly prepared from regional ingredients. All this in a relaxed atmosphere in a fantastic location directly on the River Reuss with a view of the Chapel Bridge and Mount Pilatus.
We spoil you with exquisite French cuisine, select wines, fair prices, and friendly, competent, and uncomplicated service. Our diverse offerings offer something for every taste. Comfort food instead of convenience: We serve carefully prepared, freshly cooked dishes with regional produce for lunch and dinner. Everything is prepared by hand with love: classic culinary craftsmanship – completely free of chemicals and processed foods.
Enjoyment by the lake

As part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, the "Cultural Trail Heights" was officially opened in September 2024. The hiking trail stretches over about 18 kilometers and connects the southern Chemnitz districts of Adelsberg, Reichenhain, Erfenschlag, and Harthau. It is not only the largest by area of the total 30 intervention areas in the city, but also a central component of the Capital of Culture program.
Along the Heights trail, 29 stations have been established that form a chain thematically as "pearls." These stations pick up interesting facts from the surroundings and provide comprehensive insights into the region through accompanying information boards.
The Heights trail runs above the valley areas and offers impressive views of the city of Chemnitz as well as the Erzgebirge foreland. At four prominent points – one per district – weather mushrooms have been installed that serve as weather protection and invite to take breaks.
The Cultural Trail Heights 2025 is designed as a publicly accessible hiking trail. As part of the "C the Unseen" initiative of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, it helps to make lesser-known urban areas visible and to focus on their potential.
