How the concept works in practice is shown by Tourismus‑Marketing Brandenburg GmbH (TMB), which coordinates the central data collection and maintenance as a state‑wide interface. More than 500 editors add content about accommodation, events and points of interest to a shared system every day. Thanks to this structure, information can be entered once and then shared on different platforms, websites and digital applications in a scalable, up‑to‑date and brand‑consistent way.
Building on this, the digital “Mein Brandenburg” was already developed in 2018. It provides current travel tips, events and leisure offers on mobile devices, info‑displays or outdoor terminals. Today, twelve regional tourism organisations as well as many tourist information offices and businesses use the system; around 150 individual configurations are active on about 350 displays. With an average of 400,000 sessions per month, the application shows its wide reach and importance for both guests and partners. The follow‑up project “Mein Brandenburg 2.0” uses the new one.pages to further develop the existing structures of the state‑wide content network. The basic platform should not be replaced, but extended with modern design, better performance and current AI functions.
