Our route planner functionality for guests on site.

What’s it about?
Our route planner feature allows the guest to plan an individual tour in the region, be guided along the route, and add points of interest. The functionalities include pre-selection of the mode of transport, highlighted start and destination points on the map, display of points of interest (POIs), route information, as well as options for directions, elevation profile view, GPX file download, and sharing options across various platforms.

The route planner function offers guests a variety of options for individual tour planning:

Preselection of the mode of transport for the search.
Departure and destination fields for input.
Option to add a third destination as a waypoint.
Resetting the route planner to the starting point.
Highlighting of departure, destination, and intermediate points on the map.
Display and addition of nearby POIs and events.
Display of route length and duration based on the mode of transport.
Route description with direction symbols in the “Route” tab.
Elevation profile including total route length in the “Profile” tab.
Option to download a GPX file in the “GPX” tab.
Share the route via email, print, Facebook, WhatsApp, Pinterest, and LinkedIn in the “Share” tab.
