The Zuschendorf Botanical Collections, with a collection of over 500 mostly historical varieties, are one of the two largest collections in Germany, alongside Moyland Castle on the Lower Rhine.
The spectrum ranges from the very first imports from Japan to the first European cultivars from France, the subsequent impressive development of cultivation in Germany, and the latest varieties.
The collection is open to the public and is home to a large number of rare and endangered species.
