Rangertour Kloster-Route im Nationalpark Eifel

Other

every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Friday of the month | A ranger will first guide you along the Heimbach reservoir and then through challenging trails in the beech forests of the Kermeter, a highlight of the Eifel National Park.

A ranger will first guide you along the Heimbach reservoir and then through challenging paths in the beech forests of Kermeter, a centerpiece of the Eifel National Park.
You will reach the Mariawald Monastery, former abbey of the Trappist monks.
Here, you can take a break and then hike back to Heimbach with the ranger, refreshed.
The path includes steep and partially unpaved routes, for this reason it is not suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, untrained hikers, and children under 10 years of age.

Hearing-impaired guests can borrow a mobile hearing amplifier if they notify us in advance. Otherwise, registration is not required for the free tours. We kindly ask larger groups of 10 or more to notify us in advance at 02444/9510-0.
