As usual, the Herring Catcher Museum is ending the season with another day of action. On Sunday, October 12, 2025, the museum invites you to Herring Catching Day from 11 am. Herring Catching Day is one of the highlights of the Heimsen Herring Catching Museum every year. This day is a conscious reminder of the immense importance that herring fishing had for the people of the Middle Weser region.
On this day, guests can also enjoy coffee and delicious cake in our museum café.
