The 12 life-sized marzipan figures – from Thomas Mann to Wolfgang Joop, all of them lovers of Niederegger marzipan – form a particular highlight of the exhibition. Delectable marzipan souvenirs of the Hanseatic city, especially the magnificent Holsten Gate made of pure marzipan, can be bought here on the ground floor.
