Inn
Family-run for generations
On the edge of the Teutoburg Forest and the gingerbread town of Borgholzhausen, our family-run country inn awaits you. Modern creations, delicacies from river and sea and simple, down-to-earth dishes such as the homemade brawn and the popular Potthoff`s Sahneschnitzel, a recipe from mother Lieselotte, determine the menu of the Landgasthof Potthoff. Offering good but affordable hospitality is the aim of chef and host Stefan Breidenbach and his wife Julia. Many of the ingredients come from local producers. Another tip is Grandma Lina's apple pie, the recipe for which has been passed down from generation to generation. In good weather, you can also enjoy your meal outside: in one of the oldest gastronomic gardens in the region, which alone is worth a visit.

We offer three double rooms and two simply and functionally furnished rooms for overnight stays.

A cultural highlight is the nearby Ravensberg Castle, which can be one of the destinations of your hikes.

There are also two golf courses in the immediate vicinity:

The meadow golf course of the Bauer Bernd adventure farm

and the golf course of the Teutoburger Wald Golf Club, which has a 5-star classification from the Federal Association of Golf Courses and is one of the most interesting and beautiful golf courses in Germany.
