Church
Octagonal building with four wings modeled on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem

Consecrated in 1036, the Busdorf Church, an octagonal building with four wings, was modeled on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Bishop Meinwerk had it built for a canonry he had founded. The two round towers (which once flanked the front) and the west wing still remain from the original building. The lower part of the large tower dates back to the 12th century, but it was given its present form in 1629. The baroque porch with portal was built in 1667. In the cloister ("Pürting"), which is well worth seeing, two interesting wings date from the Romanesque period around 1300.

Some sights can be admired in the three-aisled hall (end of the 13th century). There is a seven-branched Romanesque chandelier, a wooden crucifix (around 1280), a late Gothic sacrament house, a baptismal font from the same period and epitaphs from the 15th to 18th centuries.
